Charting three songs from his debut CD "Southern Influence" on the Super Country Radio Top 100, and with his two follow-up singles, "In This Little Town" and "I Wish You Enough" being released to radio in early 2011, Jeff Taylor seems to be well on his way!

Jeff now resides in Nashville Tennessee but did not start out there. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky where he lived until he was two years old. His parents moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to find work and Jeff became a Hoosier. Living in small towns in central Indiana, he completed grade school and graduated from Lebanon Senior High. He became interested in guitar and country music at age fifteen and formed a band the following year. Growing up in Indiana, Jeff says, made it difficult to remain true to his country roots - "It did give me the freedom to explore music that I now know is an influence in my writing. You can hear a little "Indiana sound" in my music sometimes and I think it works out just fine. At age fifteen, I was in a place and time when country definitely wasn't cool, so I learned to adapt." Jeff, at an early age, developed his guitar playing technique and naturally began songwriting. He composed music from his teen years to the present and has written and produced his debut album, "Southern Influence". He developed his singing ability by learning to reproduce the vocal styles of Waylon Jennings and Don Williams and his music began it's powerful and dynamic journey.

Jeff's music today represents many musical genres and is rapidly gaining popularity with music-goers. His first album is a collection of work that best describes his life. Songs like, "Who I am" and "Garage for Sale" hit home for the artist. "It's my life", Jeff says. The title cut, written with his roots in mind, explains Jeff's regard for the legends of country music. "I'm just giving a little credit where credit is due!" In 2006, Jeff made Nashville Tennessee his new home. Driven to become a major force in the music industry it was only a matter of time until he would relocate from Indiana. "Indiana will always be a part of my life, but the move was important to me and my career. I needed to bring this big Hoosier sound to Nashville. It's something I've been meaning to do for quite awhile."

Jeff is currently a touring performer who provides entertainment as a headline artist as well as an opener for national acts ranging from Jo Dee Messina to Blessid Union of Souls. He has performed many club dates across the country and has provided musical entertainment on the Nascar, IRL and Champ Car racing circuits.

Jeff is a member of the Americana Music Association and is an active songwriter registered with ASCAP. He has collaborated with such renowned writers as RCA recording artist Razzy Bailey, MCA recording artist Robert Reynolds of Mavericks fame, and the Tennessee Songwriter Association International's, "2003 Songwriter of the Year" Mark Trail, to name a few.

In 2008, Jeff released a follow-up single to his critically acclaimed debut CD, "Southern Influence". The follow-up single entitled, "In This Little Town" was produced by Lance Dary of the Randy Travis Band and showcases the diverse musical style of Jeff Taylor.

2011 looks to be an exciting year for Jeff Taylor fans, He will be releasing his new single, "I Wish You Enough" to radio in early Spring! We hope you enjoy it!
